"I knew her too," Matt says his voice cracking as he swallows his own tears, "we dated for a while...even moved to San Francisco together....but it didn't work out....she was who she was and I was who I was. But she always stayed a good friend...hell she was the one who kept telling me to get off my ass and tell you how much I cared. She even tried to recruit me before I went solo....but there was the law firm and I'm kind of a one town kind of guy."
